true but the toaster has to be clean and there has to be a lot of water to prevent contaminent concentration from rising too high and shocking you.

……….x cm …… > fulcrum at N
let the fulcrum be at x cm from (0 end)
lets take moments (weight*perpendicular distance) of weight at N >>
weight of N-0 section will act at P (x1=x/2)
weight of N-100 section will act at Q [x2=(100-x)/2]
weight of 240 g will act at 100 point [x3=(100-x)]
===============
[2.4*(x)]*(x/2) g = 240*(100-x) g + [2.4*(10-x)]*(10-x)/2*g
[(x)]*(x) = 200*(100-x) + [(10-x)]*(10-x)
x^2 = 20000 – 200 x + 100+x^2 – 20x
0 = 20100 – 220 x
220 x = 20100
x = 91.36 cm

That flap is there so when you use the hose attachment, the hose gets suction. The flap closes when the hose is on and opens when you use the vacuum the regular way. Check to see if there is a clog behind it. Do not remove the flap tho.

Solve for y in each equation:
2x + y = 5
y = -2x + 5
4x + y = 9
y = -4x + 9
They are now in slope-intercept form y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept. If the equations are exactly the same, there are infinitely many solutions. If the m is the same but the b is not, there is no solution. If both m and b are different (the equations are not the same at all), then there is one solution. So, knowing that, you know that this system has one solution.
ANSWER: One solution

These are really the main players of the foundations of the Industrial Revolution the thinkers and doers who refused to be satisfied. Most began as mine engineers hence the predomince of the Cornish connection, what with the tin mines etc. It was the development of the steam engine from nodding donkey to rotory power that saw the IR really kick off. However that would not have been possible without the better quality iron that came from Darby's technique of using coke made from coal, not charcole, and the expansion of the blast furnace technique. The ammount of coal mined was able to be increased due to the improved steam engines that allowed miners to pump out even deeper mines, and to lift the coal to the surface. So as the one requirement fed the other ,it in itself grew. A true revolutionary movement as it became circular.
The people mentioned are the main players of the IR and you should definitly research them. Be careful as there are sometimes families of them

FLO TV may not have had the best Super Bowl commercial (not by a long shot, actually), but the fledgling mobile programming service is doing its darnedest to make some waves over in Barcelona. The biggest news is that Qualcomm will be on hand at MWC in order to showcase a FLO-enabled smartbook, a device will will purportedly bring together live television and live social networking updates — something that would come in handy while watching the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics, for example. In other, more international news, FLO-EV is being introduced, with Qualcomm describing it as the “next evolution of the FLO air interface.” Finally, Audiovox has announced that an in-vehicle system based on FLO TV is now sweeping the nation, with Advent-branded solutions hitting up showroom accessory departments en masse. Now, if only these guys and gals could convince people to care about TV on-the-go… Continue reading FLO TV storms automotive lots, FLO-EV gets launched and FLO…

Ω = 55 rpm = 55/60 = 0.92 rev/s
R = 0.56 m
m = 0.240 kg
C = Circumference of circular motion = 2 π R = 6.28(0.56) = 3.52 m
V = C x Ω = (3.52)(0.92) = 3.2 m/s ANS
T = force in string = centripetal force = mV²/R
T = (0.240)(3.2)²/(0.56)
T = 4.4 N ANS
Great system .

I really don't know who would rent one but just a thought, is there someone you could borrow one from? Maybe a neighbor or family member. Or, how about something like this:
like they use in restaurants
First you must learn the meaning of "yield".
There are 3 types of yield that we encounter in stoichiometry problems.
(1) Theoretical Yield: The amount of product (mass, volume, mole, molecule etc) that is calculated by using a balanced chemical equation.
(2) Actual Yield: The amount of product (mass, volume, mole, molecule etc) that is obtained experimentaly.
Actual yield cannot be more than theoretical yield. It can be smaller than or equal to theoretical yield.
(3) Percentage Yield: (Actual Yield / Theoretical Yield) x 100
Now, we can solve the problems:
CH2CH2 + H2O —> CH3CH2OH
According to the reaction 1 mole CH2CH2 produces 1 mole CH3CH2OH, therefore 4 moles CH2CH2 produce 4 moles CH3CH2OH. this is your theoretical yield. But, actually the amount of CH3CH2OH is 3.8 moles.
The percentage yield;
% Y = (Actual Yield / Theoretical Yield) x 100
% Y = ( 3.8 mol / 4 mol ) x 100 = 95%
Have you noticed? Both TY and AY have units, but %Y is unitless.
Second question:
2C8H18 + 25 O2 —>16 CO2 + 18 H2O
Since the question involves masses, we need molar masses.
C8H18 = 114 g/mol
CO2 = 44 g/mol
According to the reaction;
2 mol C8H18 (which is 2 x 114 = 228 g) produces 16 mol CO2 (which is 16 x 44 = 704 g)
100 g C8H18 will produce;
(100 x 704) / 228 = 308.7 g CO2 (theoretically obtained)
But the actual amount is 240 g CO2.
%Y = (240 g / 308.7 g) x 100 = 77.7 %
I think it is clear. Hoping to meet again in another question.
1 mole of cyclohexanol = > 1 mole of cyclohexene
Molar mass 100.16 g/mol
moles of cyclohexanol = .240 / 100.16= 0.002396 moles
Molar mass 82.143 g/mol
moles of cyclohexene formed % yield = 0.002396
Molar mass 82.143 g/mol
mass of cyclohexene 100 % = .002396 x 82.143 = 0.197g
bur we have .138g
so % yield = .138 / .197 = 70.0 %

240 – 162 = 78g Na2S
Atomic weights: Na=23 S=32 Na2S=78 H=1 O=16 H2O=18
78g Na2S is 1 mole. 162/18 = 9 moles H2O
So the answer is D. Na2S*9H2O

It's hard to say because every school is different.At my community college certificates can range more than degrees.
Certificates can be full two years or one year or even less.
A degree will require all the education in the two year certificate program but required around 16 credits of gen ed. Basic algebra and mid level writing class is required for the degree.
Certificates are nice are better than nothing. If you have work experience in this field a certificate will help[ increase your wage and land you a better job. If you do not have work experience i would try to get the degree as you will need it to find work.
Best way to go is start with the certificate try to find work, Get you work to pay for you classes and finish the degree program.
It's is all so a good idea to pick electives that transfer to a engineering degree as you might want to do this later in life.
Probably surrendering to some army.
